PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I’m currently a student in Northwestern’s JD-MBA program. Before Northwestern, I worked as a management consultant, advising emerging life sciences and technology companies as well as fortune 500 companies. At the same time, I also worked with the CEO of an internet start-up in Palo Alto, with the Managing Director at a boutique investment bank, and alongside a political campaign in Boston, and I developed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and media. Last summer, I developed those interests working with the Press Secretary at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. This summer, I look forward to joining Vedder Price as the winner of this year’s Vedder Price Scholarship Award. In addition, I also created and currently maintain my own careers website dedicated to creating and sharing information and advice on careers, admissions and leadership.  That’s the site you’re on now www.jeremycwilson.com.

In addition to my professional experience, I also enjoy spending time on community initiatives. At Northwestern, I currently sit on the careers and admissions committees and I also am on the executive committee of multiple clubs both at the law and business school. Similarly, I also play active roles in community organizations, and am highly active in MLT, NSHMBA and NBMBAA, the Stanford Alumni Association, the Northwestern JD-MBA Association, and other organizations, where in general, I tend to spend a lot of time working on media and careers issues.

I look forward to sharing my information and experiences here for those who are interested and also for those who might need it.  And hopefully I’ll be able to make a little difference along the way.

Jeremy, you’ve got a knack for information sharing and writing! This is such an informative blog. And its really timely given the relationship between the trends in the job market and trends in graduate school enrollment. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together! Will definitely keep checking back for more gems and food for thought
